Enablers

The Sensor Development Kit (SDK) is comprised of two printed circuit boards (PCBs), a sensor PCB and integration PCB with a gas delivery hood.

Sensor PCB – The sensor board acts as a sensor breakout board enabling users to inset any MiniPID photoionisation detection sensors and perform basic sensor testing. It can also be connected to the integration board making it really simple to add PID sensors to any application.

Integration PCB – The integration board provides signal processing, data logging and communications with industry standard 4-20 mA and Modbus outputs. It can be configured to switch a relay on at a given VOC concentration. The Integration board is configured with a simple PC application.

FAQs

Both lamps produce different ionisation energies used to ionise the target gases. Most of the compounds can be ionised using 10.6EV lamp where for the compounds having ionisation energy of more than 10.6 you may need 11.7EV lamp.

High percentage of humidity effects the performance and can result in False results. ION SENSE PIDS are made with patent Fence Electrode Technology which minimises the effect of humidity on the performance of the sensor.
