Rapid determination of formulations can be accomplished by using the DART®-SVP TLC paper holder to scan the sample after it has been sprayed or deposited on filter paper. In this experiment we expelled a single spray from two different inhalers onto the paper.
The mass chromatogram of the protonated API molecule is shown in the figure. The analysis required less than 2 minutes to complete.
