Since its founding in 2005, IonSense has advanced the utilization of DART® technology by developing both the DART® technology and VAPUR® interface systems to enable the use of its open air ionization sources on LC/MS instrumentation from all major vendors. These developments have proved to be integral to the expansion of DART® enabling development of analytical methods in fields including food safety, forensics, and chemical analysis. The company has recently enabled its technology using a compact LC/MS system which it has developed into a mobile unit for use beyond the laboratory environment.
